Most of our backyard is enclosed by a regular wooden fence, but the back property line has always had an ugly chain link fence with a broken gate. In fact in the 12 years we've lived in this house the only people who used that gate were the burglars who broke into our house last year, and the police who chased them out. But I've been reluctant to spend the money on having a whole new fence put in. So this week I ordered a split bamboo fence on-line. It came on Thursday and I installed it myself. It attaches directly to the chain link fence. I'm really happy how it turned out. Very inexpensive and it made a huge improvement to the backyard. Now I just need to plant a few flowers and maybe add a bench.
