December Daily - Day 21

On Wednesday we went down to a new restaurant that just opened by my husband's office. It didn't have a lot to do with Christmas, but it's what we did that day.  I was also busy packing and doing laundry, so going out to lunch was the highlight of the day...

On the left side I included a copy of the menu and a paper coaster from the restaurant...

On the right side I added some pictures...

and the crayon box which came with my son's kids' menu.  He is getting closer and closer to being too old for the kids' menu and each time I think it's going to be the last time..

 

December Daily Update

We just got back in town from spending Christmas with family. I hope to post the rest of my December Daily this week.

December Daily - Day 20

Feeling the need for a little peace and quiet today.  I wrote some journaling I put in an envelope.

The little peace charm is a nice reminder to myself to not get to carried away with all the craziness of the holidays.

 

December Daily - Day 19

Writing some letters to Santa (not that Santa isn't already done shopping). 

I sewed on a felt pocket and added some American Craft Thickers letters.

And like Day 1 I made the page number using a Tim Holtz Type Charm hanging from a Smash paper clip.

December Daily - Day 18

I'm not much of a cook, but I do love to bake.  Putting together some cookies to have on hand for the holidays.  On one side is a picture of our kitchen, and the other is a recipe for sugar cookies.  These pages are hybrid pages using the Kitschy Christmas digital kit by Jennifer Barrette and Sahlin Studio.  I really love this kit.  I made the blue tag with the Coffee and Tea clear stamp set by Crafty Secrets.

 

December Daily - Day 17

A bit of a hodge podge of a day.  Santa Claus (along with the fire department) came through the neighborbood and handed out oranges and candy canes.  We went out to brunch and walked down Front Street. Then we came home so I could get to work on getting ready for Christmas. Can't believe it's almost here... I am so not ready.

December Daily - Day 16

We went to the Seattle Center where they had the most incredible minature village. 

I made a page divider out of cardstock and added felt numbers.

December Daily - Day 15

Back with my December Daily after a short interuption of running out of printer ink.  I made today's page with some photos my hubby took of downtown Seattle after work one night last week.  There's something magical about the city and Christmas lights.  My favorite photo of the bunch is the one looking up at the Space Needle with the crystal Christmas tree under it.

And speaking of the Space Needle this is what it looked like yesterday when a layer of thick fog rolled in.

December Daily - Day 14

A winter concert at my son's school.  They did a really cute job showing all different types of traditions and beliefs about the holidays.  They even built the scenery themselves.  It was quite a production.  I've blurred out the other childrens' faces for privacy.

December Daily - Day 13

Because she's 13 years old and today was the 13th I did a page about my daughter. Even though she no longer believes in Santa Claus, I still have her make a wish list for me every year.  This year she got one present early - a new kitten.
