It's done! Even though it was really fun to work on, the fact that we were out of town for a few days made it a little more challenging to finish. But I was determined to finish this year and I'm really happy I did.
Day 24/Christmas Eve was about friends and family coming over. It's always good to go back to my hometown and see everyone again.
Christmas day was a somber event for us this year. We recieved some sad news about a family member and no one was in the mood for much celebrating. We opened stockings and went to church in the morning and then came back to my parents' house and kept things pretty low key for the rest of the day. I will probably add some journaling to this last page at some point.
And a couple final notes to some questions I got:
I printed my photos on Kodak matte photo paper. Because it was book style I chose matte paper over gloss.
The photoshop brushes I used were Holiday Word Art by Ali Edwards, French Laundry Art Edges by Sande Krieger, and some House of 3 brushes which are no longer available.
And even though it's thick, it's still pretty manageable. I was expecting to have to get a larger size book ring but I didn't need to. It helped by adhering the pages back to back.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and Happy New Year!

just wanted to say your DD album is my favorite out of at least 100 I have looked at! It truly captures the spirit of Christmas. The pictures.colors and embellishments are the BEST. You are so talented, you need to publish.

your book came out so lovely. I treasure my old HO3 downloads, too. Have you seen rhonna's website; she's got great digi stuff.
