We've been stuck inside for the past two days with snow and freezing rain. Part of one of our trees is now in our neighbor's yard. I decided to do some scrapbooking and try out my Cameo to combat cabin fever.

It's done! Even though it was really fun to work on, the fact that we were out of town for a few days made it a little more challenging to finish. But I was determined to finish this year and I'm really happy I did.
Day 24/Christmas Eve was about friends and family coming over. It's always good to go back to my hometown and see everyone again.
Christmas day was a somber event for us this year. We recieved some sad news about a family member and no one was in the mood for much celebrating. We opened stockings and went to church in the morning and then came back to my parents' house and kept things pretty low key for the rest of the day. I will probably add some journaling to this last page at some point.
And a couple final notes to some questions I got:
I printed my photos on Kodak matte photo paper. Because it was book style I chose matte paper over gloss.
On Friday we were running around town picking up items for dinner the following night and getting a couple of last minute presents. But the most memorable part of the day was the weather. All the trees were covered in frost and it was absolutely beautiful!
Thursday we spent the day traveling over the mountains to my parents' house to spend the holidays. We got into town about 4:30pm and had a nice dinner and watched "The Help." My parents left my son the tree to decorate when we got there, and this year was his first year getting to put the star on top.
