This year will be the last time my kids have a school party to exchange valentines. I don't know what's happened to their cards and notes in the past, but this year I am determined to save them in a scrapbook.
I cut a piece of vellum heart paper from Crate Paper's Love Notes collection at an angle, and sewed a red ribbon across the top. I then sewed the remaining three sides to a piece of patterned paper to form a pocket.
After embellishing the front of the pocket, I slipped in the class valentines. I like how you can still see the cards through the vellum.
I'm glad I'm saving the cards this year... I wish I had started doing it earlier. I think it will be a lot of fun to go back and look at the valentines from their friends someday.
Now that everything is put together, I can just slip the whole thing in a 12x12 page protector. And there you have it, a super easy and quick Valentines Day project.
