My daughter is growing up so fast I can hardly keep up. She's changing and staying the same all at once. She's stressed out about school and deciding her future. She just went to the Junior Prom. She's planning a sleepover party at our house for 8 of her friends. She loves art and reading. She doesn't want to get her driver's license yet. She loves experimenting with hair and make-up.
Over the weekend I decided to concentrate on capturing her as she is right now. I snapped pictures of her room, her friends, her cat and so on. I always love recording my kids at different ages, but now that they are getting older it can get harder to pin them down and it takes extra effort on my part.
But I'm always happy I took the time to capture these moments because I know they will be gone all too soon.
Also I wanted to mention, this year I am making a spring mini album! Much like the albums I make in December, this year I wanted to record the traditions and memories we celebrate in springtime. I will be teaching an on-line class about it at Big Picture Classes in April, and I would love for you to join me! I'd love to make this a yearly tradition.
