Made this chandelier today. Ir's the first time I've added beads and buttons to embroidery and now I'm kind of hooked.

To make this journal I cut up an old pair of my daughter's jeans (she didn't mind...really!) and then used the Kawaii Cute Fruits Embroidery Pattern.
This weeked we are cleaning house in preparation for a bunch of small remodel projects we are starting. It will be lots of hard work but I can't wait to get started.
My mom sent me this great vintage postcard. I'm not sure how old it is, but it is all hand embroidered. It definitely makes me want to try something similar.
All my daughter wanted for Christmas this year was roller skates...actually she wanted pink roller skates. Unfortunately it was impossible to find pink roller skates two weeks before Christmas, but I did manage to find white roller skates with pink wheels.
So yesterday while she was at school I made her a t-shirt to go with her skates. The pattern is from Sublime Stitching. It was fun to make and my daughter loved having a surprise waiting for her after school.
