I posted today over on the Crate Paper Blog about a baby shower I had for my cousin this past weekend and I thought I'd post a few extra pictures here on my blog.

First up is the lemonade. We actually found these spice jars at World Market, but they were big enough to use for individual lemonade glasses.

I added little vellum umbrellas I made using paper from Crate's Party Day collection with my Cameo.

It helped to keep things simple and only serve one kind of drink vs. setting up a whole bunch of different drinks.

We only played one game which was matching the names of the party guests to their meanings.

Of course there were prizes for the winners:

I also set up a frame which everyone could sign for the baby:

We had a fruit tray, tea sandwiches and cupcakes.

The cupcakes were a big hit. At first I was going to just get one kind, but in the end I decided it would be more fun to get different flavors and let everyone choose their own.

We had everything from Whiskey Maple Bacon to Lavender.

I used Crate Paper's new washi tape paper to make little flags to mark the different flavors.

Lots and lots of flags..

People liked picking out their cupcakes..

And I ordered doubles so I could send everyone home with another flavor...

And finally a small photo holder for the guest of honor made using more of Crate Paper's Party Day goodies...

It's been such a long time since I planned a baby shower, but it was a lot of fun and now I can't wait for the baby to get here. He's due next month!
