Our house is a total mess right now - we are remodeling 3 different rooms at once (not a smart move on my part). So I was thinking of what my dream house would look like and remembered this picture I took last month in Skagit Valley. No fancy mansions for me - just a quirky little cottage out in the country.

I could definitely picture myself here. Now it's back to painting bedrooms and ripping up carpet.

I love seeing what my kids bring home in their backpacks at the end of the day. It's one way to see what they are working on at school. This one in my daughter's backpack just cracked me up - it's her version of a superhero.
and I'm loving this book report she was assigned - to make an old diary complete with coffee stained pages.
We are experiencing some really nice weather this week, so I hope to work outside today. Love seeing flowers spring up, and these birds make me smile.

There are the cutest new embroidery patterns over at Kitchy Digitals Goods.
To make this journal I cut up an old pair of my daughter's jeans (she didn't mind...really!) and then used the Kawaii Cute Fruits Embroidery Pattern.
This weeked we are cleaning house in preparation for a bunch of small remodel projects we are starting. It will be lots of hard work but I can't wait to get started.

I came across these today. I made them a year ago and I had forgotten all about them. Need to find a better place to display them. All supplies from Alpha Stamps.
The kids and I have been working in the yard all week. So nice to get some color back again. Of course it was snowing just two weeks ago so I hope I'm not to early putting things into the ground.
My daughter is having a sleepover tonight and I just got back from taking the girls to the Hannah Montana movie. It was very cute.
Now the girls are coloring Easter eggs for me - think I better go check up on them.

It was a beautiful day today - the sun was shining and my hubby took the day off work. We grabbed the kids and drove through the country taking pictures of old barns and fields of flowers. Perfect day.

Had a great time at my cousin's wedding on Saturday. We have some really neat pictures which I will have to post later. Spring Break starts today and the kids are ready to go...

This one decided to trick me this morning. She switched the cereal in all of the boxes. I went to pour Fruit Loops for my son and Cheerios came out. I was totally confused - she really got me.
I can't get this one off the ladder I set up to change a light bulb. He loves to help around the house.
My parents are coming in this weekend so I'm off to get the house together.
