I know I've been absent from my blog lately. There is no good way to say it...my husband has been diagnosed with cancer. Our world as we know it has come to a screeching halt. Life has been full of doctor appointments, tests, and biopsies. Very soon he will be starting chemo and radiation, with possible surgery to follow. On Tuesday he will have surgery to have a feeding tube put in. Life is hard right now.
On the other hand, in many ways scrapbooking has become more important to me than ever. I feel a need to preserve our memories and get the stories down on paper sooner rather than later. I've been going through old photos and making sure I actually get them put in albums. It helps to look back at happier times. I started with a vacation we took a couple of years ago to Universal Studios in Florida. One of the happiest places we spent time at was Seuss Landing. I love the colors and crooked buildings. I used Project Life Design D for these pages. The graphics are from Whimsy World by C.D. Muckosky. I hope to get the rest of this vacation scrapped this week.
